I know this looks like garbage. :/ I'm trying to perfect my technique... And also get a decent picture of what I'm envisioning in my brain... I worked really hard on this picture. I made the envelopes and parcel myself, and I personally wrapped the candles in this cute and funky ribbon I found. I actually had to set up a translucent curtain, which I put the lights behind hoping for bokeh, even though I got none. Anyway, I even used a tripod and everything. But somehow, I still feel like this looks terrible, so... Your opinion is welcome, though. <3
This image captures both the feeling of summer, and valentines day. It is well set up, and gives the thought of a peaceful, and more quite time. The colors and shading are fantastic! Nothing more is needed, or has to be added to this; anything else would just ruin it. lighting in here is what brings out the whole entire mood of this. And the objects in here are beautiful, and are placed well around the others. Nothing here seems out of place, or miss matched.

The title and picture somehow gave the the idea of mailboxes having a cute little tea party, which is kind of an interesting conceptual bit that lends the piece depth when you analyze it. If you just look at it surface-level though, it also just has a still a nice/calming/romantic/frilly/soothing impressionism about it.
I really like the set-up and how you've framed it, although I feel that it's a small shame a bit of the right side is chopped off and I feel as if this is slightly tipped to the side as well, angle wise.
Other than that, it's brilliant. I like the tone and how that works with the colours and the lights to convey a sense of warmth and belonging.. and being comfortable as well. It's a good atmosphere and one that is relatively light-hearted.
It's interesting how you've focused the camera here... most of it is in focus, but the light near the centre, for example, is a bit blurred which is quite interesting.
Thank you~ I'm disappointed that it's a bit cut off, as well. My camera couldn't capture it all without showing things that weren't on the set. But at least I got most of it. Thank you for the compliment~!
